Edge Solutions
Rubber, steel, and plastic edge beam options for every crossing installation. Significantly lighter than concrete alternatives with integrated drainage and no spalling.
Lighter Than Concrete
Every Rosehill crossing system needs edge beams to contain and protect the crossing boundary. We offer three material options — rubber (primary), steel (heavy-duty), and plastic (rapid deployment) — all at 1.8m standard length, all compatible with every Rosehill crossing system, all Network Rail accepted.
Material Options
Primary
The default choice. Manufactured from 100% recycled tyre rubber using the same cold cure process as the crossing panels. Significantly lighter than concrete alternatives, with integrated drainage channels. Won't spall, won't crack, won't degrade.
Heavy-Duty
For high-traffic applications where maximum durability and impact resistance are required. Heavier than rubber but engineered for extreme loading environments where edge protection takes constant abuse.
Rapid Deploy
Corrosion resistant and lightweight for easy handling. The fastest edge beam option to install when speed of deployment is the primary concern. Ideal for temporary installations and rapid access requirements.
