About Rosehill Rail
A division of Rosehill Group. Five crossing systems, 100% recycled rubber, trusted by rail networks in 30+ countries.
Our Story
Rosehill Rail was founded in 1991 to solve a specific problem: developing a faster bonding process for rubber rail crossings. Our cold cure process reduced curing time from hours of high-temperature vulcanisation to just 90 minutes — a breakthrough that remains at the heart of our manufacturing today.
After acquiring the original moulds in 1999, we began manufacturing our own crossing systems. Today we produce five distinct systems covering everything from standard pedestrian crossings to extreme-duty mining applications, each engineered for specific track conditions.
We're part of Rosehill Group — a family of companies manufacturing polymer products across rail, drainage, highways, security, surfacing, and energy. Based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, with efficient access to global shipping routes.
Why Rosehill Rail
Three things that genuinely set us apart from every other crossing manufacturer.
Traceability
Each panel is marked with crossing grade, rail type, sleeper type, fastener type, and year of manufacture. Digitally tracked from production through weight checks and visual inspection to delivery. Full audit trail, no guesswork.
Bespoke
No two crossings are identical. We manufacture to your specific track gauge, sleeper spacing, rail profile, and crossing angle. Not off-the-shelf products adapted to fit — purpose-built from the start.
Sustainability
Every panel is manufactured from recycled tyre rubber using our cold cure bonding process. No environmental risk, no chemical leaching, no harmful vapours. Circular economy without performance trade-offs.
Annual NQA audits and computer-controlled manufacturing overseen by trained professionals.
All components in our crossing systems are designed by Rosehill Rail, including those supplied under other names by global distributors.
Based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire — strategic access to major transport links for efficient global delivery.
Our engineers will help you select the right system for your track configuration, traffic requirements, and budget.
